For Fall/Winter Fashion Week 2011, Tokyo-based designer Jay Sabatino asked Benjamin to accompany his runway show. Jay’s line was inspired in part by Tom Waits. In this clip, Benjamin plays a little Black Rider.
On a Sunday morning in September 2007, This Ambitious Orchestra, with the help of extra friends on strings, piled into the Royal Blue Studio in Bed-Stuy, formerly the production home of the Wu-Tang Clan. We spent the next four hours recording Black Lingerie old-school style: vintage microphones, Neve mixing console and 2 inch tape. Not a computer in sight.
